Celebrating Peace in East Charlotte

On September 21st  International Peace Day is celebrated around the globe.  Here in East Charlotte the CAFM GURLS club joined children around the globe in sending out their wishes for peace in our community, our country and across the globe. 
The children created this beautiful banner as an 
expression of their peaceful wishes.  

East Charlotte Tweets joins the GURLS club in extending 
peace to the East Charlotte community,  the Queen City, NC, US and entire world. 

 We must all echo the message in the children.s banner --

Krispy Kreme will be opening a new location  in East Charlotte --  Stop in on opening day Sept 24th for a chance to win lots of yummy prizes!!  The newest East Charlotte sweet treat spot will be located at 119 N. Sharon Amity.

Back to School - Best Wishes!!

Just a note to wish all the students, parents, teachers and staff all  the best as we begin another school year here in East Charlotte.   We all must work together to strive for a supportive and positive educational environment for our students so they grow and develop into future leaders 
I encourage East Charlotte Businesses to work to develop supportive relationships with local schools.  We all must work to find ways to increase the time and supplies we offer in support of our local schools.
