Charlotte Neighborhood Leadership Awards

Neighborhoods and neighborhood leaders collaborate with City staff to accomplish great things throughout our community. While volunteering can be a thankless job at times, the 2014 Neighborhood Leadership Awards provides you with the opportunity to show your appreciation for the work that neighborhoods do to make our city a great place to live, work and play.

Several City departments have crafted special awards to celebrate accomplishments and inspire additional efforts.  The 2014 Neighborhood Leadership Awards categories, and the names of the City departments that will sponsor each award category, are below.

·   Community Safety Ambassador
(Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department)

·   Moving Forward
(Charlotte Department of Transportation)

·   Good Neighbors
(Neighborhood & Business Services’ Code Enforcement division)

·   Sustainability Pioneer
