America Recycles Day 2014 - Queen City Paper Shred Event
East Charlotte residents can safely dispose of old documents at the Hickory Grove Recycling Center located at 8007 Pence Rd between the hours of 8am and 12 noon.

East Charlotte Friends & Neighbors Rally to Assist Local Veteran In Saving Her Home
East Charlotte neighbors are working together to support local Veteran Vickie Fewell in saving her Shannon Park home. This long time East Charlotte activist has been given notice that her home will be sold at auction Nov. 3. Friends, neighbors and supporter are asked to lend any support they can to help Ms Fewell to help keep this tragedy from happening.
A GOFUNDME.com site has been set up to receive donations to assist Ms Fewell. Neighbors and friends have also scheduled a rally on Wednesday at 6 p.m. 5014 Grafton Drive, off The Plaza.
Please consider lending help to this long time champion of East Charlotte!!
